at Park Hall Academy

At Park Hall Academy we are committed to ensuring that fundamental British Values are embedded throughout the school and the curriculum.  We focus on the following:

Democracy 

To ensure students understand democracy and its importance.  To encourage students to support and participate in the democratic processes in England and understand how citizens can influence decision-making through the democratic process.

Rule of Law 

To understand that people hold different views about what is right and wrong however everyone living in England are subject to its law.

Individual Liberty 

To ensure that our students understand that they, and all other citizens have the right to express themselves and their views freely.

Mutual Respect and Tolerance 

To respect others and their views and create harmony between different cultural traditions by encouraging students to acquire an appreciation of and respect for their own and other cultures.

Friendship and Loyalty 

To create an environment which fosters and encourages friendship and loyalty amongst students and their peers.

Integrity 

To be honest, have strong moral principles and to stand by these principles.

Community 

To teach students the importance of community and playing an active and positive part of community.

Charity  

To encourage our students to be charitable by promoting causes and actively fundraising for causes that are important to them.
