Pupils working from home

Working from Home

Individual pupils who are self isolating

Work will be set on Microsoft Teams for pupils who are required to work from home and remain well. The work will be in line with our curriculum at Park Hall to ensure that no pupil is disadvantaged. To access this work pupils should log on to Microsoft Teams through Office 365 and open the teams for the classes that they would have on that day. Work can be submitted and pupils can receive feedback, as they would in school.

Whole classes who are self isolating

In cases where whole classes are working from home we are committed to providing as many live lessons as possible. Pupils should expect to have a live lesson for each of their timetabled lessons, it will only be in exceptional circumstances where this will not be possible and work will be set instead. Pupils should logon to Microsoft Teams at the time they would normally have the lesson and wait for their teacher to start the lesson. Heads of Year will be monitoring attendance to these live lessons.

Pupils will need the equipment that they would take to in-school classes - their books, pen, pencil and ruler.

Pupils who are self isolating and are unwell

If a pupil becomes unwell during self isolation there will be no expectation to complete work or take part in live lessons. Please ensure you inform the school of the illness through the normal absence line.

If there are any technical difficulties please e-mail

Pastoral care will continue to be available through the heads of year.
