What BTEC Sport and Exercise Science?
Sport and Exercise Science is a subject that helps you to prepare for work in the sports industry or for higher education within the fields of sport science and sport.
Through BTEC Sport and Exercise Science you will build on the knowledge from GCSE PE, BTEC Sport Level 2 and core PE lessons. The course is broken down into units:
1 A Level equivalent is the BTEC Sport and Exercise Subsidiary Diploma (6 units over 2 years).
2 A Level equivalent is the BTEC Sport and Exercise Diploma (12 units over 2 years).
3 A Level equivalent is the BTEC Sport and Exercise Extended Diploma (18 units over 2 years).
(Broadly equivalent to 1 or 2 A Levels)

What skills will I gain from studying Sport and Exercise Science?
