GCSE
Sociology

“Socialisation is the process by which people are moulded by society to fit into the culture

into which they are born.”

GCSE Sociology explores the many influences that make us who we are. Our personalites,

our beliefs, our goals and ambitions are all shaped by our upbringing. Our family, education,

social class and gender all have an influence on what we expect from life and what society

expects from us. The course itself is split up into the following units. Each unit comes with

a revision pack and ends with an end of unit test. These tests are all based on past GCSE

questions which means that by the end of the course you are well prepared for the final exam.
