Key Stage 3 Dance

Dance is taught at Key Stage 3 through the PE curriculum. It is one of 13 activities and is delivered with gymnastics in the Autumn and Spring Term for two blocks of 6 hrs.

The pupils have the opportunities to experience principles in choreography , performance and appreciation.

Throughout the 3 years at Park Hall Academy the pupils will have the chance to study the following:

In year 9 pupils work towards creating dance work for their BTEC First Certificate in Performing Arts which is led through their Drama and Music lessons.
